Simple reason.

Mixtape works without an account. When a sticker is activated, we store its random sticker code, the Spotify playlist link, and the time it was activated.

When that sticker is scanned, we update a simple scan count and the time of the latest scan. We do not ask for a name, email address, birthday, location, or Spotify password.

Our hosting provider may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. We do not use the sticker data for targeted advertising.

A playlist may reveal information its creator chose to put on Spotify. Only link a playlist you are comfortable sharing with anyone who has the sticker.

This is an early pilot. Before public sales, we will add a contact address for privacy questions and confirm the final policy against Australia's children's privacy requirements.
